Pentagon spokesman Mike Andrews said that the US Department of Defense Logistics Center is currently responding to the appeals of the Office of Crisis Management. The Office of Crisis Management is currently compiling federal government responses to the new coronavirus.
US President Trump said this week that the next two weeks will be “painful.” According to the White House’s forecast, under the current restrictions, 100,000 to 240,000 people will die of the new coronavirus in the United States. If nothing is done, this number will be 1.5 to 2.2 million.
As of now, two out of an average of three people in the United States have been severely restricted. Major cities have not been spared, especially Chicago and New Orleans, and the situation has deteriorated.
On the same day, Robert Kraft, owner of the NFL team “New England Patriots” in Foxburgh, Mass., Used a Rugby Union plane to transport 1.2 million masks from China to the United States. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker previously ordered about 1.7 million masks from China, but could not be shipped from Shenzhen to the Boston area.
